With the increase in popularity of the Pilates method, demand for teachers is high. Due to such demand weekend “certification” courses have become increasingly popular. However, when searching for a Pilates instructor, follow the guidelines of the Pilates Method Alliance, a non-profit organization striving to set national standards for certification.

PMA PILATES CERTIFIED TEACHERS

Do you want to teach Pilates? We will be hiring experienced Pilates Teachers, who meet the recommended teacher certification guidelines of The PMA - Pilates Method Alliance. Pilates teachers must be comprehensively trained on all Pilates original equipment, completing a minimum 600 hour training program, and be familiar in teaching all levels of mat work as well.

APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING

TriPilates Apprenticeship Training is a comprehensive program, requiring students to have a background in the Pilates experience to enroll (strong intermediate level or higher).  Apprentices are taught Classical Pilates Method and study in-depth every exercise on every piece of equipment.  The program includes intensive lectures, practice teaching, observation, and individualized attention over the course of one year.  Upon completion, students may sit for the PMA Pilates Certification Examination.
