“I felt really good yesterday... surprisingly. I did feel tired, but not like I did before our session! Today I feel my stomach muscles and I’m happy about that.”

Debbie has over ten years experience with Pilates and is nationally certified by the PMA (Pilates Method Alliance) and by Frog Temple Pilates Center in Chicago.  Motivated with a desire to bring a full service Pilates studio closer to home, Debbie opened TriPilates, LLC in Park Ridge, Illinois in 2006.  Debbie is currently in the Masters Program through the Pilates Center in Boulder and began her own Apprenticeship Training Program at TriPilates Studio.  With a focus on classical technique based on the original teachings of Joseph pilates, Debbie brings her enthusiasm for balanced body, mind, and spirit to her teaching. Her training includes expertise on all Pilates equipment: the Mat, Reformer, Tower System, Barrels, Cadillac, Low Chairs, and Pilates props.

A mother of four young children, Debbie finds Pilates helps her create the energy, focus and balance to meet the demands of a busy life. She is also a PSIA level II Certified Ski Instructor and is very grateful to her husband, children and friends for this new opportunity to help others. Debbie enjoys teaching and knows what it is like to begin something new, loves to see people keep coming back, and strongly believes in the rehabilitative effect that Pilates has on a person’s strength, awareness and energy.

Debbie is committed to keeping both her teaching and her practice of Pilates precise and in accordance with the original Classical Pilates Method and standards set by the PMA. Debbie is an active member of the Pilates Method Alliance and supports the national PMA Conference and the Pilates Center in Boulder, and Pilates on the Lake, furthering her education as a Master teacher. Debbie is now working with the Pilates in the Schools program sponsored by the PMA and is bringing Pilates to kids at TriPilates.

Debbie is an experienced mentor and consultant, offering workshops and
lectures for individuals and private groups.
